Bernie Joyce is a visual artist from Connemara and has recently completed a BA in Contemporary Art at ATU and hopes to continue her studies to obtain an honours degree. In 2021 she launched her virtual exhibition Pathways which was featured on websites around the world and was part of The Irish Festival of Oulu in Finland. Bernie draws inspiration from the Connemara Gaeltacht and the Irish language. She is currently exploring the effects isolation has not only on people but the landscape around them.
